High Performance M-Style Injection Pump by Bosch for Mercedes-Benz OM617 Turbo Diesel Engines.
This is a modified European NA pump with a 7.7mm element, with greatly increased power and a modified ALDA unit. It features easy external adjustments and only a slight bending of the fuel lines to fit the US turbo motors--no additional modifications necessary.
We've seen a big increase in performance using these pumps, with approximately 40-50hp increase at the lower end of the fuel adjustment range.

The optional anti-jerk system is an addition to make vehicles with a manual transmissions drive smoother. If you have a manual transmission, we suggest you purchase the anti-jerk option. If you have an automatic transmission, you are welcome to buy the anti-jerk addition to ensure the smoothest drive possible.
Notes on Modification for Installation
Timing point will be marked on the pump for ease of installation.
Fuel lines to and from the fuel filter housing to the injection pump need to be replaced with flexible fuel line because the fuel outlet ports on this injection pump are at a different height.
With Mercedes automatic transmissions, the stock VCV (vacuum transmission control unit) needs to be replaced with an OM603 VCV (contact us to purchase separately).
This injection pump will consume more fuel, and may output more smoke on full throttle.
Excessive smoke is usually an indicator of incorrect tuning in installation. When we install these pumps, we tune the fuel all the way down and find that quantity of power to be more than sufficient.
Installation of this part on a worn-down motor will result in faster wear or failure to other engine components. We do not recommend installation on a motor with over 200,000 miles on it.
Due to its use in performance applications, this pump has no warranty, but we and the pump rebuilders encourage you to contact us with any issues you may encounter along the way and we will do our absolute best to make it right. If there is found to be a defect in the manufacturing process, the pump rebuilders can service or replace the pump.
